What we do We are building the worlds' first digital pension fund. Pension funds have so far escaped the digitalization of the financial industry due to high barriers to entry and fragmented markets. However, due to the new EU regulation coming into force it becomes possible and even required to fully leverage software to bring the tech in fintech to the pensions world. What you’ll do As a software engineer at Horizon55's office in Brussels, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining our core platform, from ideation to deployment and beyond. You will be surrounded by peers which are passionate about technology and are always happy to share this passion with the rest of the team. Our stack Our stack is based on node.js with android and iOS companion applications. We maintain microservices in python and ruby for executing and managing trades and synchronizing data with payroll providers. We have a relentless drive for clean, secure and well-tested code, which shows during code reviews, and whenever a change is approved it gets deployed automatically through our zero-downtime CI/CD pipeline. What you’ll bring Production experience and a strong command of at least one language. The ability to get things done. You actively consider the fine balance between shipping speed and perfection. Impact-driven mentality. You have a product mindset and understand how your work impacts customers and coworkers. Problem solving skills. Our work often requires implementing unconventional solutions and sometimes you should be able to find non-engineering ways around a problem. Communication. You have a good English and are capable of giving feedback and gathering information from other departments and peers with different backgrounds.

What you’ll do As our head of marketing you will be responsible to bring product awareness and proof traction in various channels according to the bulls eye framework at first. The goal would be to optimize messaging and channel to get a handle on Cost per lead (CPL) in various EU markets. What you need Familiarity with at least 2 consumer-level marketing channels such as influencer marketing, social ads, content marketing, referral marketing, etc. Familiarity with building a consumer brand in multiple geographies. A good understanding of consumer psychology and how it impacts brand and conversion. Proven ability to learn new marketing channels.
